Hi! I'm Jody and I am the photographer/owner of Bella Luma Photography. It's important that you feel comfortable with your photographer so here is a little bit about me to help you get to know me a little better.
Photography History:
I attended Point Park University for Photojournalism as well as the Herron School of Art.
I started Bella Luma in 2008 and have been shooting ever since.
Philosophy:
My goal is to capture moments, relationships, personality, and emotions you want to hold onto. I believe memories are precious especially as we get older. I believe photos are incredibly important as they can freeze a moment in time for you to hold on to for generations.
My Style:
I work on location and in a studio.
My style is mostly photojournalistic as I love to capture life and people as they are.
I believe happy people are beautiful people.
I often include "out takes" or less than perfect images because that moment if far better than a photo of you and your loved one staring at a camera.
Who I Am:
I run on coffee, chocolate & wine.
My 3 Kiddos are my WORLD.
I am an old soul.
I love babies!
I am a farm girl who loves being outside.
I love to have fun!
I think life is too short not to be happy.
